After a week full of tension brought by the players' desire to spark change in the US amid all the social issues happening, Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Danny Green offered a unique and funny solution to at least “lighten the mood” in the NBA bubble.

To recall, players boycotted the postseason games on Wednesday in protest of the Jacob Blake shooting. The players had a meeting after that, which Green said had its heated moments.

With that said, while speaking to reporters on Friday ahead of the resumption of the postseason, the Lakers swingman expressed his belief that the presence of dogs would help them, per Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

Dogs are called man's best friend for a reason. Since players are without their families and loved ones (for now) at Disney World, Danny Green is trying to get the NBA to allow some cute dogs on the campus.

We'll see if the Lakers veteran's plea works.

Los Angeles is currently up 3-1 against the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2020 playoffs. The Lakers shockingly lost Game 1 of the series and fans of the team started panicking.

However, the Purple and Gold have won three straight since their Game 1 blunder, with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way and showing no signs of stopping.

Since Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard is out for the rest of the series with a knee injury, all signs point toward the Lakers closing the series out on Saturday in Game 5. While the Blazers will surely play hard without Dame, they just don't have enough scoring to keep up with LA in the absence of the All-NBA guard. After all, LA has one of the best offenses in the league with James running the show at point guard.
