New Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Dion Waiters won't make his debut on Sunday against the L.A. Clippers.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel says it's going to be a few games before Waiters plays for the Purple and Gold:

Waiters played in only three games for the Miami Heat this season because of suspensions. He averaged 9.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 38.5 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Earlier this season, Waiters suffered a panic attack on the Heat charter plane after consuming a THC-infused edible. Those type of things won’t be tolerated on the Lakers, who are championship contenders with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the way.
