The much-anticipated trailer for Space Jam 2 was released on Saturday morning and it had a nod to LeBron James' memorable alley-oop dunk from Dwyane Wade in it. With the Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward featured heavily in the trailer, Wade responded to the reference of the alley-oop on Instagram.
After seeing what his former running mate said with the reference in the trailer, LeBron James took to Twitter to share his reaction to Wade's response.

In the trailer for Space Jam 2, Lola Bunny delivered a lob pass to LeBron James, who attempted to make an alley-oop dunk. Lola Bunny would give a wink toward the camera as she played the role of Wade in the iconic picture of Wade throwing a pass to James. Space Jame 2 is set to hit theatres and on the HBO Max streaming service on July 16th.
The historic alley-oop took place against the Milwaukee Bucks when both LeBron James and D-Wade were teammates on the Miami Heat. Ever since the picture was taken, it has been a fan-favorite moment of theirs, with some people even getting tattoos of the photo.
Besides Wade, there were other former and current NBA players to react to the impending release of Space Jam 2 in the summer. Lonzo Ball was among the current players to express their support in the movie as James reciprocated his support back on social media. James is set trying to double down on the success of the first movie which featured Michael Jordan as the lead character.
