Kentavious Caldwell-Pope came up big for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, as he helped L.A. to a huge Game 4 victory over the Miami Heat. Caldwell-Pope has never been a crowd favorite, and former Lakers teammate Josh Hart was quick to remind everyone about how important KCP has been to the squad.

The New Orleans Pelicans guard took to Twitter to put some respect on Caldwell-Pope's name and called out his haters.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope made a huge bucket in crunch time, nailing a corner triple right in front of the Miami bench. The Lakers were precariously up by just two points at that point, and KCP's trey was a huge momentum-swinging play:

Caldwell-Pope also made a layup in the succeeding play, scoring five straight points for his team down the stretch. The 27-year-old had his best game of the series, finishing with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting, to go along with three rebounds, five assists, and just one turnover in 32 minutes of play.

Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis were great on Tuesday, but there's no denying that L.A.'s non-superstars, most notably Caldwell-Pope, came up big for them in Game 3. This is exactly what the Lakers needed to secure this crucial game in the series, and their players delivered.

With L.A. now up 3-1 in the series, they will have their first opportunity to secure the championship on Friday in Game 5. As for the Heat, they are in an undeniably deep hole right now, but it would be foolish to count them out completely at this point.
