Even though he plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, Kyle Kuzma continues to draw inspiration from Los Angeles Clippers All-Star swingman Kawhi Leonard.

A multi-time NBA Champion with two different franchises, it is hard not to draw inspiration from a player like Leonard — who even won it all just last season as a member of the Toronto Raptors.

“I just look at Kawhi Leonard as an example,” the Lakers youngster said, via SB Nation's Silver Screen & Roll. “He was a Spur for 3, 4, 5 years or whatever it was, waiting his turn behind Duncan, Ginobili, Parker and then did his thing. I just take the pressure on myself and try to get better every day, stay focused on what I can control, and [know] my time is coming.”

Interestingly enough, Kuzma's Lakers and Leonard's Clippers could very well meet in this year's Western Conference Finals. The two Los Angeles powerhouses currently serve as the two best teams in the conference standings as the NBA restart in Orlando nears.

With Kawhi Leonard and another All-Star swingman in Paul George leading the way for the Clippers, Kyle Kuzma will look to do his part alongside the tandem of forward LeBron James and big man Anthony Davis for the Lakers.

Even with the coronavirus currently running rampant across the state of Florida and players still testing positive for the viru, it appears as though the NBA restart will still take place in Orlando at the end of July.
