Kyle Kuzma comes up large for the Los Angeles Lakers. The swingman put his head down in the dying seconds of their game against the Houston Rockets to put the Lakers up one with 6.9 seconds to play.

Watch Kuzma show off his clutch gene:

With some time left on the clock, the Lakers went down and played excellent defense on the other end to secure the victory, 124-122.

This was a huge moment for Kuzma, who had been receiving some flak for a few of his less-than-stellar performances of late. Things hit a low point during the Lakers' last loss against the Portland Trail Blazers when Kuzma shot a horrific 2 for 11 from the field for just four points. That game was pivotal for LA's attempt to escape the play-in tournament.

But Kuz has bounced back in a big way during the Lakers' last two contests. In their previous outing against the New York Knicks, Kuzma sizzled to the tune of 23 points off the bench.

Beyond the game-winner on Wednesday night, Kuzma had a heck of a ball game. He virtually played the role of LeBron James lite as the swingman stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and added seven assists for good measure.
