LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were in a celebratory mood all evening long against the Washington Wizards, as they came away with their second consecutive victory on Tuesday night.

At one point in the ballgame, James even brought out the shimmy as he celebrated a familiar one-handed flush in transition.

James led the way for the Lakers in his team's 124-106 victory against a struggling Wizards team that has now lost five straight. LeBron logged 23 points (on 11-of-20 from the floor), one three-pointer, seven rebounds, 14 assists, and a steal in 34 minutes of action.

Fill-in starter Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who himself has been on a hot streak of late, top-scored for L.A. with 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard also accounted for six three-pointers, five rebounds, an assist, and two steals. In his last five, Caldwell-Pope is averaging 19.6 points (on 46.4 percent shooting), 4.2 three-pointers, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 steals.

The Lakers have been eliminated from playoff contention and have nothing left to play for this season, other than pride. They have now put together back-to-back wins, and are looking to close out the calendar month on a high note.

However, they will be facing a stern test on Wednesday in a second night of a back-to-back, as they take on the Utah Jazz. Given the workload he took on against the Wizards, it would not be an absolute shock if the Lakers opt to give LeBron a night off against Utah.
