Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was hyped after he saw a photograph with teammate Marc Gasol from the team's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It wasn't just any normal photo, as LeBron and Gasol were caught in a similar pose as Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol in a past image.

The resemblance is eerie:

The moment wasn't the only great thing that happened for James and the rest of his teammates on Sunday. The  Lakers dominated the Karl-Anthony Towns-less Timberwolves after cruising to a 40-23 start in the opening frame. James and the rest of the Lakers didn't look back and concluded the tilt with a 127-94 lopsided victory.

James only saw limited action, as the outcome of the game was basically decided right from the get-go and he was dealing with an ankle issue. He recorded 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists through 26 minutes while, Kyle Kuzma provided a lift with his tallies of 20 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 29 minutes of action.

Gasol had himself a night with Anthony Davis missing the matchup due to a right calf contusion. The Lakers center had 12 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and four blocks in a terrific all-around performance.

With the win, Los Angeles improved to a 2-1 record, while the Timberwolves dropped to an identical record after winning their first two games of the season.

In addition, the four-time MVP will be questionable for the Lakers' upcoming game against the Portland Trail Blazers as he continues to nurse his lingering ankle injury sustained in their season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Nonetheless, the rest of the Lakers will look to continue their good showing and aim for their third win of the season when the Blazers come to town on Dec. 28.
