Golden State Warriors rookie Nico Mannion is already living the dream of playing in the NBA. However, he was given a rather brutal welcome moment by none other than Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James on Monday.
While the Lakers were bringing up the ball, James decided to give his teammate a good, tough screen at the expense of Mannion. The clip looked even more hilarious in slow motion. Notice the look on James' face as well as Mannion.

Nico Mannion, the 48th overall pick by the Warriors in the 2020 NBA Draft, will definitely remember that moment forever. Yes, he ate LeBron James' big and muscular shoulders, but those that came before him have had it worse. Some have even been the victim of a poster from the Lakers star!
Moreover, some have been bruised by James' massive body, while others gave up a 3-1 NBA Finals deficit. With that said, Mannion shouldn't feel bad about himself at all.
Besides, Mannion should enjoy his time in the league with James still around. While the four-time MVP seems to be well within his prime even at 36 years old, no one has defeated father time. Maybe in the next year or two, we might see a decline in the performance of the Lakers forward.
Like Mannion, NBA fans should just sit back and appreciate one of the greats.
