LeBron James is keeping himself busy during the offseason. Not only is he looking to bring the Los Angeles Lakers back to prominence, but he's also trying his hand in the world of television. James is producing two more TV shows through his production company, SpringHill Entertainment, according to Joe Otterson of Variety. It's interesting to note that both shows that James is producing will be female-driven storylines.

The first show, Lean on Me, will take place in James' hometown of Akron, Ohio and it will focus on a young, African-American principal and her quest to turn a struggling public school around. Additionally, James is producing a drama series titled, Hoops, alongside Elizabeth Banks according to Joe Otterson of Variety. The show will chronicle a female basketball player's return to her alma mater to coach the men's basketball team.

James is also producing a show that will be loosely based on Ben Simmons' family. LeBron is branching out and showing the world that he is much more than a basketball player. Many players struggle to figure out how to fill the void after retirement. That stage of life is still a long way off for James, but it's clear that he'll find ways to fill his time.

That being said, James is still the best player on the planet and once the season starts, his focus will completely shift back to basketball. James and the Lakers kick off their season on the road in Portland on Oct. 18.
