Back on Christmas, LeBron injured his groin during a win over the Golden State Warriors and then proceeded to miss an entire month. However, since James has returned, things have gotten even worse in Los Angeles, as there have been clear chemistry issues.

This marks the first time that James will miss the playoffs since 2005, which was his second year in the league.

Prior to this season, LeBron James had made eight straight Finals appearances, winning three championships during that span. He split that time between the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers, claiming two of his titles with the Heat.

On the 2018-19 campaign overall, the 34-year-old is averaging 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.3 steals over 35.3 minutes per game while shooting 51.0 percent from the floor, 33.4 percent from 3-point range and 66.4 percent from the free-throw line.
