Despite the marvelous things he's done over the past few years, there are still a lot of people who continue to doubt LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has now sent a strong warning for his doubters after leading LA to their second straight win on Sunday against the Houston Rockets.

At 36, there's no denying that Father Time will be catching up to LeBron sooner rather than later. However, the Lakers star is adamant that right now, he can still compete at the highest level simply because of all the work he puts in day in and day out:

“I don’t surprise myself because I know how much work I put into my craft and my body and preparing myself for the game,” James said, via Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times. “So I’m able to go out and do some things that other people are still questioning how I’m able to still do.”

We've heard the story many times in the past. LeBron is too old and he can no longer do the same things he's been doing during his younger years. This has been the narrative for the Lakers superstar for several years now, but time and time again, he's been able to erase all doubt.

LeBron is set to do the exact same thing this season, and following the Lakers' slow start to the campaign, the naysayers have been as loud as ever. In his statement above, James sends out a friendly warning to these people as he looks to lead LA to another championship this year.
