Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has wished Lakers legend Kobe Bryant a Happy 41st Birthday on Twitter:

Kobe Bryant is arguably the greatest player in Lakers franchise history. The Black Mamba won five championships with the Purple and Gold and spent his entire career in Los Angeles.

In 1,346 career games, Bryant averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. Kobe finished his career as an 18-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion, two-time Finals MVP, 2008 MVP and 15-time All-NBA member.

Bryant is the Lakers' all-time leader in games played, minutes played, field goals, 3-pointers, free throws, steals and points.

LeBron James averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in his first season with the Lakers. The four-time MVP and three-time champion shot 51.0 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 66.5 percent from the free-throw line.

James missed 17 consecutive games due to a groin injury he suffered on Christmas against the Golden State Warriors. Had James not sustained that injury, the Lakers probably make the playoffs last season.

LeBron will try to deliver banner No. 17 to LA next season with Anthony Davis by his side. The team hasn't made the postseason since 2013, which is the year Bryant tore his Achilles tendon.
