Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball shared a cryptic post which put more fuel to the fire about his involvement in recent trade rumors.

Ball piqued the interest of his followers on Instagram with a mysterious entry on his IG story. The Lakers guard posted a screenshot of the song ā€œTrade It Allā€ of his good friend Kenneth Paige. While it might also be a simple show of support to his friend, most fans believe that has a deeper meaning.

The 21-year-old point guard, who was the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, was reportedly made available in trade talks. The Lakers are currently negotiating with the New Orleans Pelicans for a blockbuster trade for superstar forward Anthony Davis.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Lakers offered Ball and Brandon Ingram along with the fourth pick in Thursday's draft. If the fourth pick remains on the table, it is expected that a trade might be finalized before the draft. The Purple and Gold are also shopping the pick for a high-level player who they can offer to the Pelicans.

Ball is no stranger to trade rumors after his name was also mentioned numerous times before the trade deadline. The Lakers reportedly made an offer centered on the former UCLA standout when they tried to acquire Davis in February. No deal materialized, and Ball remained a Laker for the rest of the season.
