After some sweeping changes across the organization over the past few months, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to make one more considerable move this NBA offseason. Head coach Luke Walton and company have moved into a new practice facility, and along with the new state-of-the-art equipment at their disposal, the players have been highly motivated at the new UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo.

According to Walton, a large contingent of Lakers players have already been making good use of their new practice facility making for an electric atmosphere, via NBA insider Chris Palmer.

Following an impressive run to an NBA Summer League championship title in Las Vegas, the Lakers have become a team to watch next season. Rookie Lonzo Ball showed what he could do during the Summer League while the team also got solid performances from fellow rookie Kyle Kuzma and others.

As if the promise of the young newcomers wasn't enough to spark optimism about the upcoming season, the team was also able to acquire Brook Lopez and sign free agent Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The addition of these rookies and veterans along with the already talented players on the squad makes what could be a breakout year for the Lakers in which expectations may be exceeded.

The fact that this team is showing chemistry and a willingness to put the extra work in during the offseason only further fuels anticipation for training camp, preseason, and the start of the regular season in October.
