Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to celebrate the news of Democratic Party nominees Joe Biden and Kamala Harris winning the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election over Republican incumbents Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

It's been a great couple of months for Johnson, whose Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers won their respective titles.

Now, Biden and Harris—whom Johnson endorsed—are winners as well.

The Lakers, led by superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, won the 2020 NBA title over the Miami Heat in six games at Walt Disney World in the NBA bubble. Magic Johnson no longer works for the franchise, as he stepped down as president of basketball operations during the 2018-19 season.

However, Magic will always be rooting for the Purple and Gold.

The Dodgers won the 2020 World Series in six games over the Tampa Bay Rays. Corey Seager won the MVP award after batting .400 in the series and hitting two home runs.

Johnson, of course, has an ownership stake with the Dodgers.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a lot of work to do to restore America after Donald Trump's four-year term. However, Johnson is confident the Democrats are capable of accomplishing their goal.

Magic, who won five titles with the Lakers, is one of the most entertaining follows on Twitter despite his admission that he has someone who writes his tweets for him.
