Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma took to Instagram to showcase his new “back to black” hairdo, now forgoing the trademark blond look he had become associated with over the past couple of months.

This took the social media world by surprise, with some players reacting to Kuzma's new look:

Dwight Howard and DeMarcus Cousins are the notable participants here, with Boogie taking the cake thanks to his “power of prayer” jab, which caught the eye of Danny Green:

Cousins may no longer be a member of the Lakers (he was waived by the team a couple of weeks ago), but he obviously remains very close with his former teammates. As a matter of fact, reports state that the four-time All-Star has been allowed to carry on with his rehab at the Lakers' practice facility despite his recent release from the team. He still probably sees Kuzma and the rest of the guys almost every day.

As for Kuzma, the 24-year-old was outstanding for the Lakers on Sunday in their 122-114 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Anthony Davis sat that one out with a minor knee injury, which helps explain why Kuzma was able to make his mark against New Orleans, finishing with 20 points, two triples, four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and zero turnovers in 35 minutes of action.
