The Los Angeles Lakers heaved a huge sigh of relief on Wednesday night after escaping the Dallas Mavericks in overtime, 107-104. Rookie guard Austin Reaves hit the biggest bucket of his NBA career after sinking the game-winner.

Reaves was totally ecstatic after his big shot as he ran down the floor. But somehow, Lakers guard Rajon Rondo also stole some of the spotlight, albeit accidentally as he was caught by cameras doing a hilarious celebration that would make Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard proud.

Rondo, sporting a poker face, did the savage ā€œgoodbyeā€ celebration to the Mavericks and their dejected fans at the American Airlines Center. The Lakers' veteran playmaker has always been one of the more snarky players in the NBA and mocking the opposing camp is definitely in his wheelhouse.

Reaves will definitely remember the nail-biting victory, playing 32 solid minutes off the bench. He totaled 15 points on five three-pointers and added seven rebounds and two assists. He also made a lot of intangibles happen like making extra passes, boxing out, and chasing loose balls, among others.

The Lakers improved to 16-13, continuing their recent momentum built on LeBron James' string of impressive performances.

Rondo was a healthy DNP against the Mavericks. But at least, he made his presence felt at the end of the game.
