LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are not in the playoff picture in the Western Conference, but Toronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green still believes the purple and gold are a dangerous team.

Green, who has had many battles with James in the past when he was playing for the San Antonio Spurs, says when you have LeBron on your team, you are capable of beating anyone once the postseason starts.

“It's hard to be the best player in the world for 15 years,” Green told the LA Times' Dan Woike. “You've got a couple of young guys up and coming, proving themselves and getting better every year. It's definitely a crowded conversation. The fact that [James] is a little older now … but when he turns that switch on you know what he's capable of. Regardless of who is on his team, he's capable of beating anybody's team in any playoff series, winning a series. If the Lakers are pushing the eight seed, it's trouble for anyone they play against.”

The Lakers are 28-29, 10th place in the Western Conference standings. They are three games back of the Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot.

LeBron James is a smart guy. He knows getting the eighth spot wouldn't be ideal since playing the Golden State Warriors in the first round is an automatic loss. LA should be trying to get any seed other than the eighth spot.
