Shareef O'Neal, the son of Los Angeles Lakers icon Shaquille O'Neal, just got another tattoo in honor of the late and great Kobe Bryant.

Per TMZ, O'Neal revealed another Kobe tattoo to honor the basketball legend. As seen in the photo by TMZ, the ink was a popular image of Bryant celebrating while pulling his legendary no. 24 jersey.

O'Neal actually has several Bryant-related tattoos. He has a tattoo of Bryant's Lakers numbers, Gianna Bryant's No.2 Mamba jersey, a Bryant figure about to take a shot, and Kobe's trademark logo with “Mamba Mentality” written above it.

Shareef O'Neal got linked to Kobe through his dad Shaq, as the two formed a dynasty with the Lakers in the 2000s. As Shareef grew older, Bryant became a mentor to him–both on and off the court.

O'Neal actually received a text message from Bryant shortly before the Lakers star embarked on his final helicopter flight with his daughter Gigi and seven others. The 20-year-old expressed regret in not being able to respond to Kobe's would-be final text. However, he has since dedicated his fledgling basketball career to the five-time NBA champion.

The youngster has also shared his text conversations with the late Lakers star which detailed their plans to train together.

Like Shareef, many fans and fellow ballers have made efforts to honor Kobe. Current Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis got Kobe Bryant-related tattoos just days after the tragic accident. The entire Purple and Gold organization, too, dedicated its 2020 title win to the Black Mamba.
