There are a lot of big name free agents this summer, but one of the forgotten names happens to be DeMarcus Cousins, who is still recovering from an ACL injury.

He is expected to have a pretty limited market because of the risk that surrounds him, but former Cleveland Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin seems to think he knows where the big man is going to go.

Appearing on Sirius XM, according to this Reddit post, Griffin thinks Cousins is going to end up with the Los Angeles Lakers.  Griffin was also the one to predict Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics the day before it happened, and he does have an inside scoop in the NBA still.

Griffin doesn't just think that the Lakers will get Cousins, he thinks that it will be Cousins plus either LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, or Paul George.

The two main teams that have been connected to Cousins have been the Dallas Mavericks and the New Orleans Pelicans, but no one has really talked about the possibility about Cousins being with the Lakers.

There have been reports that James won't go to the Lakers unless there is another star coming with him, and the question is does Cousins move the dial enough to get James to the Lakers. James would probably rather play with Leonard or George, but Cousins when healthy is a superstar, and if he can keep his head on straight the two could team up to be a good combo in Los Angeles.
