The NBA's tampering rules are pretty strict without a doubt. Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers were fined $500,000 for commenting on Paul George during a talk show. Lakers' young guns Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart are well-aware of the NBA's rules and their franchise's history with it.

As reported by Bleacher Report, Kuzma and Hart were playing Fortnite. Out of the blue, PG-13 became the topic. The two then realized that they may not be allowed to mention his name, being that their game is being recorded and will be released to the public.

George is considered as one of the league's best players. He did good with the Indiana Pacers but they seem to have not utilized his full potential. He was expected to be traded to the Lakers last summer. Yet in a turn of events, he went to the Oklahoma City Thunder to join Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony.

Apart from being a Californian native himself, the Lakers who have a great history of developing superstars into legends. He even said then, as per Lee Jenkins of Sports Illustrated:

“I grew up a Lakers and a Clippers fan,” George says. “I idolized Kobe. There will always be a tie here, a connection here. People saying I want to come here, who doesn’t want to play for their hometown? That’s a dream come true, if you’re a kid growing up on the outskirts of L.A., to be the man in your city.

Yet given his subpar season with the Thunder, the odds seem to be in favor of the Lakers. They might have missed the opportunity of trading for him last year. Maybe this summer, George will sign. A backcourt tandem of George or Hart doesn't look bad at all.
