Lance Stephenson has been one of the Los Angeles Lakers' energizers this season. He can get it going offensively when the team needs him. At times, he can also make plays like this one that also involves Ivica Zubac.

With the Lakers leading the Knicks 88-86, Stephenson threw a fancy behind-the-back pass to Zubac, who rattled the rim with a two-handed jam.

They tried the same play on the previous possession but were unsuccessful.

Lance Stephenson has been known to make fancy plays every once in a while, and with the Lakers missing the services of LeBron James, Rajon Rondo, and Kyle Kuzma, the team needs someone like Stephenson to come out there and make shots or create opportunities for other players.

The nine-year veteran currently averages 7.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 45 percent from the field and 40 percent from deep in almost 15 minutes.

Stephenson wasn't expected to carry much of the offensive load when the Lakers signed him this season. He was brought in to provide scoring off the bench.

Fans recognize Lance Stephenson because of the ear-blowing incident that involved him and LeBron James a few years ago, but when focused, he is an underrated scorer and passer.

And it's fun to watch Lance make plays like this.
