Game certainly recognizes game, as LeBron James paid homage to a fellow supreme athlete (even though he was rooting for the other side).

In the Los Angeles Lakers’ match versus the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, James acknowledged the presence of Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who was enjoying the game courtside at the time.

With 27 seconds left in regulation, James came over Murray’s spot during a lull in the game and shook his hand.

The pair clearly share mutual respect from one another, as Kyler Murray represented LeBron James' media company Uninterrupted on the NFL Draft red carpet last April.

The Lakers went on to grab a 123-115 win over the Suns, improving their record to a Western Conference best 8-2. The team bounced back  nicely after a home defeat against the Toronto Raptors.

James finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and 11 assists.
