Former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets were reunited in their respective teams' match-up at the Barclays Center on Thursday night.

The pair of superstars got reacquainted early in the first half, as Irving had some fun at the expense of James' misfortune. Upon checking replays, an initial call in favor of the visitors was overturned by officials, which caught the ire of the four-time MVP.

James then pleaded his case with the referees, as an amused Irving came right over and appeared to mouth off “Yeah!” twice as he playfully mocked The King.

The Lakers, meanwhile, did get the better of the Nets in the first 24 minutes of the ball game and held on a slight 75-70 lead at halftime.

LeBron James looks to be on his way to another triple-double performance, notching 17 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in 18 minutes of play, while Kyrie Irving will look to be more productive in the final two quarters after contributing just 10 points in two assists in the first half.
