Rajon Rondo played a key role in Anthony Davis' jaw-dropping game-winner on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets. In case you missed it, it was Rondo who was assigned to make the inbounds pass from the baseline during the final play of the game, and boy did he deliver.

Davis' shot was simply astounding. It will go down as one of the best game-winners in Lakers franchise history. However, equally epic is Rondo's own reaction to the play. Keep your eyes on the veteran point guard in the clip below to see his savage reaction:

He didn't even flinch. Rajon Rondo made the perfect pass to the right player and based on his reaction, he already knew what was going to happen next. He literally just walked off the play as if Davis didn't just hit a series-defining winner that lifted the Lakers to a huge 2-0 advantage over the Nuggets. Now that's a gangster.

Rondo played some quality minutes again in this one, as he dished out nine assists in just 21 minutes of action. He scored just three points and uncharacteristically turned the rock over five times, but he made the right call in the most important moment of the ballgame. The fact that Lakers' head coach Frank Vogel entrusted him to be the inbounder on this key play just goes to show how much trust and confidence the coach has on his veteran point guard.

Rondo and the Lakers get a day off and will be back in action for Game 3 on Tuesday. Another win would virtually guarantee their place in the NBA Finals, where they will potentially face the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics.
