It’s not uncommon to see celebrities grace the sidelines during Los Angeles Lakers games, and three big time celebrities had a surprise performance at halftime on Tuesday night.

At the end of the first half of the Lakers’ hosting of the Oklahoma City Thunder, tennis superstar Venus Williams, recently retired New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and Late Late Show host James Corden graced center court.

The unlikely trio, clad in Lakers colours, had a series of dance-offs – much to the delight of the home crowd. Williams displayed rhythm through salsa, while Gronk and Corden bust out a couple of their best dance moves alongside the Laker cheerleaders.

The Lakers enjoyed a 63-53 lead at the half. Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma left the game before halftime after getting elbowed between the eyes by Darius Bazley.
