A bloodied Kyle Kuzma had to leave the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.

The third-year forward took an elbow from Darius Bazley that hit him right between the eyes at the nine-and-a-half-minute mark of the second quarter.

Kuzma covered his eye in pain for a few seconds before cameras caught a glimpse of his wound as he rushed back to the bench.

Lakers reporter Mike Trudell tweeted that his status remains questionable after rushing to the locker room.

He scored five points before leaving the ball game.

After coming back from an ankle injury he sustained while playing for Team USA over the summer, Kuzma has emerged as the Lakers’ sixth man, averaging 14.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in nine games while shooting 45.2 percent from the field and 32.7 from the line.
