This just in: LaVar Ball is in the news again.

Now that's an oxymoron if there ever was one.

The Ball father is again making headlines, but this time it's a bit more subtle. After pulling his son LiAngelo out of UCLA amid the freshman's suspension from the program after a shoplifting incident in China, he's now seemingly making overtures to European basketball teams about not only LiAngelo, but LaMelo as well.

Or should we say, the agent of Lonzo's two younger brothers is making the overtures. The Twitter account of Basket Europe released the email sent by LiAngelo's and LaMelo's agent — who also represents Lonzo, by the way — to various pro teams overseas.

The two younger ball brothers have both been pulled from school, with LaMelo being the first to which that happened. And now with LaVar breaking his relationship with UCLA, LaMelo probably can't attend there as it was originally planned.

So overseas basketball appears like the next logical step, hence the Ball agent's email. However, there's at least one person out there who doesn't believe LiAngelo has a shot at any pro level whatsoever, and that person goes by the nickname Woj.

To be fair, Wojnarowski did not mention anything about LiAngelo, or LaMelo for that matter, playing overseas. So perhaps there's a place for the two there.

The fact that the brothers want to play on the same team would be a hurdle for European clubs to get over, but one thing is for sure — there would definitely be leads of attention to whichever team decides to take a chance on those two.

Whether they'd be good basketball players, however, is another matter entirely.
