NA League of Legends squad, Immortals, is looking to make massive changes around their team ahead of the 2021 season. The team has already announced earlier this year that they will be declining the second-year option of their star Jungler Jake “Xmithie” Puchero. The management has already made the move to acquire a new head coach for the team with the addition of André “Guilhoto” Pereira Guilhoto to their staff. Now there are rumors surrounding which player can possibly take up the mantle of Immortals Jungler.

Astralis Jungler and EU superstar Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir is reportedly making his way to the NA League of Legends squad. Source allegedly say that Xerxe's move to the NA is already set in stone for Immortals. However, fans and enemy teams will have to wait for confirmation regarding the player migration.

Xerxe has played for a variety of teams in the EU region such as Unicorns of Love, Splyce, and Origen before it rebranded into Astralis. His grandest international accolade is an impressive showing during the 2019 world championships. Xerxe made it to the quarterfinals stage of the playoffs before exiting the tournament. Immortals is clearly looking to rebuild their strength with the addition of the new Jungler.

Heading into the 2021 season

League of Legends teams around the world are still scrambling to build the best team possible for the 2021 season. Many EU players seem to favor moving to the NA region. This could potentially be a skewed trade for the League of Legends European Championship. Players from many regions have chosen to make NA their new home, leaving their old home regions at a deficit.

Immortals is not the first team to import talent from another region. Xerxe will have put all of his skills to good use to make sure that Immortals made the right decision signing him on.
