Not even 24 hours after winning an NBA championship, the rumors are starting to fly.

LeBron James was reportedly looking to leave the Cavs again after fulfilling his promise of a trophy to pursue other interests. Comments from ESPN's Stephen A. Smith claim that LeBron would entertain going to the Los Angeles Lakers.

It's not abnormal for the Lakers' name to pop up in every star players list of possible destinations, but they're almost always just rumors.

One recent rumor has surfaced that James has enrolled his kids in a local Brentwood, California private school, adding more fuel to the story that he may be looking for another home soon.

This has not come from the James' camp, and he has given no signs or indications that he is planning on leaving Cleveland this summer.

Earlier in the year, LeBron told the press he would love to play with a few of his NBA star buddies on the same team before their careers are over.

“really hope that, before our career is over, we can all play together. At least one, maybe one or two seasons—me, Melo, D-Wade, CP—we can get a year in. I would actually take a pay cut to do that.”

While the Lakers will have cap space to sign James if he desires to come to Los Angeles, chalk this up as one of many rumors that will surface this summer until James makes an actual decision.

If it were possible, the Lakers would certainly bite, but the closest thing you'll see to a team like that would be during the Olympic games. Then again stranger things have happened.
