The Detroit Lions got the Thanksgiving festivities going early with a bit of trickery against the Houston Texans.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford took the snap, handed the ball off to Kerryon Johnson, who then flipped the ball to Jamal Agnew, who then flipped the ball back to Stafford, who then found a wide-open T.J. Hockenson down the field for 51 yards.

Check out the crazy play:

The big play set up a short touchdown run for Adrian Peterson to give the Lions a quick 7-0 lead.

Unfortunately, the Texans quickly struck back. J.J. Watt's pick-6 of Matthew Stafford made it a 7-6 game, and then another Detroit turnover gave Houston great field position in Lions territory. Deshaun Watson found C.J. Prosise for a 2-yard touchdown to make it 13-7 after a wild first quarter.

Both of these teams have had disappointing seasons, with the Lions sitting at 4-6 and the Texans down at 3-7.
