Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah reacts to high praises given by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp following another brilliant performance against Watford.

Mo Salah has started off the 2021 Premier League season with a bang. He has now extended his tally to 7 goals in 8 games, while also contributing 4 assists.

Liverpool smashed Watford into bits after Saturday's 5-0 win with goals from Sadio Mane and Mo Salah, and a hattrick from Roberto Firmino. Salah pulled off another stellar performance with an exquisite outside-foot assist to Mane to open up the scoring, and a stunning goal that sent shockwaves around Anfield. The Liverpool star expressed that he remains focused on garnering as many points as possible for the team rather than focusing on his recent form.

“I don't know. Sometimes I don't have the luck to score goals but I am always trying 100% to help the team. I am confident at the moment, helping the team win points which is the most important thing.”

Questions have been circulating over the past weeks whether Salah should be regarded as the best in the world at the moment, but some fans have also mentioned Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski in the same breath due to their prolific goalscoring this season.

Liverpool remains at second in the Premier League standings with Manchester City and Chelsea winning their fixtures as well. Klopp's men must remain focused as they square off against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League group stage this week.
