The LSU football team currently has one of the best recruiting classes in the country, but it is still early in the cycle. There is a lot of time for things to change, but the Tigers are looking good so far. They have 11 commitments in the class so far, and two of those commitments are from five-star prospects. However, LSU did recently lose a commitment from another five-star as wide receiver Dakorien Moore is no longer committed to the Tigers.
Dakorien Moore is not just one of the top WRs in the 2025 recruiting class, but he is one to the top players in general. He was committed to play for LSU football, but he recently announced on Twitter that he will choosing a different school.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to Coach Kelly and the entire LSU community for their tremendous support of my family and me,” Moore said in a tweet. “I am incredibly blessed and deeply appreciative of the opportunity the coaching staff has given me to play football at the collegiate level. After careful and extensive consideration, my family and I have decided that it is in my best interest to decommit from LSU. I want to emphasize that despite this decision, I will not be considering any recruitment offers. I will always hold love for the entire LSU family; the culture there is truly unmatched. Thank you all for your unwavering love and support.”
Dakorien Moore is no longer headed to LSU, and he also noted that he won't be considering any new offers, so he is going to choose between schools that he was already considering before committing to LSU.
Moore has a lot of great offers as he is one of the best players in the entire 2025 class. He is a five-star prospect according to 247Sports, and he is number three overall player in his class. Moore is the top WR in the 2025 recruiting class, and he is the top player in the state of Texas. He currently attends Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas.
Where should Dakorien Moore go?

Now that Dakorien Moore is no longer committed to the LSU football team, he has a big decision on his hands yet again. A couple fan bases that should be excited about this decommitment are Ohio State football fans and Texas football fans. The Buckeyes and the Longhorns will be two schools that Moore will consider as he now has to pick a new home.
The experts are currently predicting that Moore will end up at Texas next season. The Longhorns just had two WRs drafted early in the NFL Draft, and Moore is from Texas. He wouldn't have to go very far from home if he stayed in the Longhorn state.
Ohio State is definitely a good option for any WR recruit as well. The Buckeyes have been pumping out WR talent to the NFL like no other in recent years, and they seem to always have one of the top WR cores in the country.
Dakorien Moore is no longer going to LSU, and one of the most coveted recruits in the 2025 recruiting class is back on the market.
