Founded by Ice Cube, the BIG3 league provides an opportunity for basketball fans around the country to see their favorite players once again. In its first year, Allen Iverson, Charles Oakley, Gary Payton, and Julis Erving are just a few players who are involved.

As numerous retired players are interested in joining the three-on-three competition, Ludacris revealed he wanted to participate with Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan as his teammates on Instagram:

While Jordan has not been mentioned too often, Ice Cube and numerous players are actively recruiting Bryant to join them. After being just one year removed from 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, it is unclear if the five-time champion has any interest at this time.

For Bryant, he is focused on spending time with his family and building up Kobe Inc. During the 2017 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, Bryant debuted Musecage, which educated young children about the game of basketball in a unique way.

As for Jordan, he is the principal owner and chairman of the Charlotte Hornets. After failing to make the playoffs last year, they drafted Malik Monk and signed Dwight Howard in hopes of returning in the weak Eastern Conference.
