Legendary Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has been dominating across Europe's top flights for more than a decade, but his stint with Atletico Madrid may be his last one of Europe's major competitions. Suarez's contract with Atletico Madrid is set to expire in June of 2022, which would make the 34-year-old a free agent, free to sign with whomever and wherever he so chooses. According to reports from El Nacional, Suarez is keen on making a move to the MLS, with David Beckham's Inter Miami as one of his preferred destinations.

While the opportunity for Suarez to re-up with Atletico Madrid was always an option, it seems the talisman is not interested in renewing his deal, and is instead seeking a new challenge across the pond in the United States. El Nacional also reports that Suarez is hopeful of convincing his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi to make the MLS move alongside him.

Inter Miami are owned by David Beckham, with the club having been founded in 2018. It's one of MLS' newest clubs, but the allure of partnering with Beckham and playing in the lively city of Miami is sure to turn some heads when it comes to a potential MLS move.

Many of Europe's top talents have been linked with future swaps for the MLS as they enter the twilight of their career, and it seems Suarez may be the next in line to make the move out West. Acquiring Suarez on a free transfer would be an absolute coup for Beckham and Inter Miami, though the Uruguayan is sure to command some hefty wages.
