England and Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was one of the standout performers at Euro 2020. Turns out he was in fine form despite a very painful injury. Per The Telegraph, Shaw was playing through broken ribs in the last three matches of the tournament.

Luke Shaw suffered the injury in the Round of 16 against Germany but proceeded to play through it in the Ukraine, Denmark, and Italy clashes. As of right now, the Red Devils don't know the true condition of the ribs because Shaw is on holiday. But they will be assessing him once he returns to Manchester to find out the severity of the injury ahead of the Premier League campaign in August.

The former Southampton man was a breath of fresh air for the Three Lions this summer, supplying three assists in six games while scoring the side's lone goal in the final at Wembley with an absolute screamer. Luke Shaw has solidified himself as a key piece of the England squad and is also very important to Man United's success. Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping he and Marcus Rashford can both be ready for the start of the season, with the latter dealing with a shoulder issue of his own.
