Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba came on as a substitute in the club's 5-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday and was quickly sent off after a controversial tackle on Naby Keita. Reports from UK outlet The Sun have claimed that Pogba snubbed boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following the poor result and the Frenchman quickly fired back on Wednesday morning via Twitter. Take a look:

This isn't the first time Pogba has called The Sun out, either. The Manchester United star essentially put the newspaper on blast by saying they're telling lies to make the headlines. While he set the record straight on the matter, his future at Old Trafford certainly remains unclear.

Pogba has yet to sign a new deal with the Red Devils as his current contract expires next summer. There's been no shortage of interest either, with the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus keen on the France international. PSG is also interested in vying for his services.

However, the 28-year-old has been used as a substitute in the last two games for Manchester United after previously starting the majority of their fixtures this term. Despite starting the campaign with seven assists in his first four appearances, Pogba hasn't exactly been a huge part of this struggling United side as of late.

As for Solskjaer, he reportedly has three games left to turn around the club's fortunes, or else he will likely be sacked. Antonio Conte is emerging as the favorite to take over at Manchester United if the Norwegian is let go.
