The Dallas Mavericks will acquire Kelly Olynyk and Derrick Jones from the Miami Heat as part of the sign-and-trade deal featuring Jimmy Butler.

Per Marc Stein of the New York Times:

Olnyk was part of the Heat's second unit in his two seasons there. Last year, the seven-foot center averaged 10.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists across 22.9 minutes. He also shot 46.3 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from deep. Olynyk is set to make $12.67 million in the upcoming 2019-2020 season.

Jones, meanwhile, had the best season of his young career last year. The 6-foot-7 high-flyer averaged 7.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds across 19.2 minutes. He also shot 49.4 percent from the field and 60.7 percent from the free throw line. Recently, he shared his desire to be a top defensive player in the league. He is owed $1.6 million for the upcoming season.

In addition, Goran Dragic — who was initially part of the deal — will remain with the Heat as the Mavs wanted to remain flexible as they move forward with free agency this summer.

With the deal, the Mavs will receive some depth and support for their budding young stars — Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. But from the looks of it, it seems that they're not yet done retooling their squad.
