The Dallas Mavericks secured a big win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. The Mavs went into the Wells Fargo Center and let it be known that even though they are without franchise superstar Luka Doncic, they're still a team to be reckoned with. In the three games without Doncic, the Mavs have come away with two wins and Friday's win against the 76ers continued the reemergence of Kristaps Porzingis as an All-Star level.

The 7-foot-3 center dominated in the win with 22 points, 18 rebounds, and three blocks. Playing without a player like Doncic is never easy but Porzingis reiterates that there's not too much to it.

After being traded in February from the New York Knicks, Porzingis averaging 17.4 points and a career-high 9.2 rebounds to go along with 2.1 blocks per game.

“We have a great group.”We have a deep bench now, even with Luka being out, we have so many guys that can come in and step up and play well. Tonight, Ryan [Broekhoff], Timmy had a great game, Seth [Curry] in the second half, JB [Jalen Brunson] — that's our strength. Just having so many weapons.”

They could certainly use more of the balanced attack as they try to complete their Eastern Conference gauntlet with Doncic set to return sometime during the tail end of the stretch. The Mavs are set to take on the defending champion Toronto Raptors next.
