Dallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis was a late scratch in Game 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers due to right knee soreness. While the Mavs were able to defeat the Clippers without Porzingis thanks to the brilliance of Luka Doncic, Dallas will need Porzingis in the lineup moving forward if the team wants to upset the Clippers and win the series.
The good news for the Mavs is that Porzingis underwent an MRI on his knee and results didn't rule Porzingis out for Tuesday's Game 5:
Carlisle declined to answer whether Porzingis' MRI showed any structural issues, citing HIPPA, but said nothing on the MRI ruled KP out, "and that's good news."
"A lot of this is going to be hour-to-hour, minute-to-minute type stuff into the later stages tomorrow."

Porzingis is being listed as questionable for Game 5. He's looking like a game-time decision.
Kristaps Porzingis tore his left ACL in 2017-18 with the New York Knicks. He experienced soreness in both of his knees, though, this season and now his right knee is acting up again at the worst time for the Mavs.

With how poorly Clippers forward Paul George is playing right now, any type of pressure on LA may be the tipping point for them.
Porzingis put up 20.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Mavs during the regular season in 57 starts. He shot 42.7 percent from the field, 35.2 percent from beyond the arc and 79.9 percent from the free-throw line.
In Games 1-3 against the Clippers, Porzingis put up 23.7 points, 8.7 boards and 1.0 blocks in 31.3 minutes a night.
