Dallas Mavericks rookie phenom Luka Doncic's season may be over but he's not done dishing dimes just yet – off the court that is.

Doncic, one of the few Mavs that are extremely active in social media, granted the request of a North Texas high school of re-tweeting their tweet so they could be exempted from the writing portion of their English IV final exam.

The English teacher, Abbey Rosenbaum, appreciated the gesture and stuck to her promise saying that the Slovenian made a lot of students happy.

Earlier in the day, Doncic was revealed to be one of the three finalists for the NBA's 2018-19 Rookie of the Year award along with his closest rival for the plum in the Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young and the top overall pick in DeAndre Ayton of the Phoenix Suns.

Of course, this is probably just a formality to hype up the actual announcement of the awards via the televised NBA Awards Show held every late June. Despite Young being constantly pitted against the 6-foot-8 positionless playmaker as a threat due to a strong March performance, Doncic is still highly regarded as the presumptive winner as a result of sweeping the Western side of the monthly rookie honors as well as amassing a bevy of records including eight triple-doubles (passing Lakers Hall of Famer Magic Johnson but falling short of Philadelphia 76ers point man Ben Simmons' 12).

While Doncic claims that he could care less about the award, it does add credence to the young European's budding career.
