Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is expected to play in a critical Game 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers despite a neck strain, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Doncic was listed as questionable on Saturday for Sunday's Game 4 after suffering the injury in a Game 3 loss on Friday night. It's no surprise that the Mavs star plans to suit up for this crucial game. Dallas is up 2-1 in the series and will be looking to take control again after losing Game 3.

The Mavs phenom has been absolutely ridiculous in this series, including in Game 3. While the Clippers erased an early 19-point deficit to get their first win of the series, Doncic did his best to put Dallas up 3-0 by pouring in 44 points while also recording nine rebounds and nine assists.

For the series, Luka Doncic is averaging an absurd 38.0 points, 9.0 assists and 8.7 rebounds in 39.1 minutes per game. He's shooting 51.9% from the field and 45.9% from 3-point range. The Clippers once again have no answer for the Slovenian sensation, just like they didn't in the playoffs last year.

LA won that series in six games, though, and the Kawhi Leonard-led squad will try to take another step toward replicating that by winning Game 4 and tying things up at 2-2. The Clippers will try to slow down Doncic, but if they can't, limiting the other guys could be enough to get another road victory.

Keep an eye on Luka Doncic in this Game 4 and see if this neck injury bothers him, especially late in games. The Mavs star can wear down late in games because of the heavy burden, so that will be something to watch.
