Luka Doncic joined another elite company after leading the Dallas Mavericks to their first win in the West Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

The Slovenian superstar dropped 30 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists in the 119-109 victory that was never really close. Although the Mavs got quite a scare when their 29=point lead was cut to eight in the closing stages of the game, they were able to hold on with Doncic leading the way.

In the process, Doncic joined Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant for the second-most 30-point games in the playoffs before turning 24. At 23 years old and five playoff series under his belt, Luka now has 17 of such performances.

Only LeBron James has more with 21.

Luka Doncic has a chance to claim second for himself in Game 5 of the series against the Warriors. And if the Mavs are able to extend the series further, it's not hard to see him breaking LeBron's record.

However, the young playmaker and the Mavs cannot think too advanced and instead take it one game at a time. One loss and they are out of the postseason, so they need to be near perfect and really focused come Thursday. Besides, they'll be playing in hostile environment in San Francisco.

If there is one thing Dallas can take confidence from, it's the fact that Doncic is playing out of his mind and going all-out.
