Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle says Kristaps Porzingis' heel shouldn't be an issue during the Mavs' first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Porzingis will be playing versus the Clippers in Game 1 despite being listed on the injury report as probable with a heel injury.

Both Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic are making their playoff debuts for the Mavs against the Clippers.

While Dallas is the underdog versus Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the Clippers, the Mavs certainly feel like they can pull off an upset with KP and Luka leading the charge.

During the regular season, Porzingis averaged 20.4 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 57 starts. The 7-footer, who began his NBA career with the New York Knicks, shot 42.7 percent from the field, 35.2 percent from beyond the arc and 79.9 percent from the free-throw line.

For the Mavs to pull off the upset against the Clippers, Doncic and Porzingis will have to play like superstars in every game. The Clippers are the second seed in the West and have two premier players in Leonard and George, along with a championship-level head coach in Doc Rivers.

The Mavs have nothing to lose in the series, though. All the pressure will be on the Clippers to win and there aren't any fans at Disney World, so Dallas can play freely.
