It might be a good idea to start saving up today if you intend to witness Dirk Nowitzki’s possible last NBA game live. According to TickPick via Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype, the tickets for the Dallas Mavericks’ final game of the season — against the Phoenix Suns —  which is set at April 10 of next year come with a whooping average price of $1,357.

The said game is the Mavericks’ last regular game of the season, which is conveniently scheduled to be played at Dallas’ home court, American Airlines Center.

The Mavericks aren’t expected that much to contend for a playoff spot, let alone for the NBA title this coming season, following an underwhelming 2016-17 campaign in which the team finished with a 33-49 record, so this date with the Suns has a chance to be Dirk’s final in the league. Nowitzki signed a two-year deal worth just $10 million with the Mavs earlier this summer, though the second year of that contract is a team-option.

Dirk Nowitzki’s tentative farewell game, however, isn’t the most expensive to watch on the list. In fact, it’s only second to the Boston Celtics’ home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on February 11, a day which is extra special for Boston as Celtics legend Paul Pierce would see his jersey retired on that day.
