During the first quarter of the Dallas Mavericks' early afternoon matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans, Luka Dončić was dishing out some serious dimes to teammates.

The first pass was a behind the back pass to Dwight Powell in the pick-and-roll between two defenders. Another great assist also went to Powell but this time was a no-look alley-oop over the defense. There was nothing the Pelicans could do in team defense to combat Dončić's passing with all of the Mavs' floor spacing they have as a unit.

The Mavs have been very impressive this season as they held control of the second spot in the Western Conference standings leading into Saturday's NBA action. The excellence that Dončić has brought to the table has been a key factor. He is averaging 30.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 9.2 assists through 21 games.
