Earlier this week, it had been announced that Metta World Peace has joined the South Bay Lakers as a player development coach.

However, it appears that Peace has found yet another gig as he recently revealed to TMZ Sports that he will play in the BIG3 league next summer.

The 37-year-old is also set to play in Master P's Global Mixed Gender League, which will be played in Las Vegas, which he stated that he will play in both organizations. This will certainly be a lot on Peace's plate but he appears to have no concern about wearing himself thin with both ventures.

He had played the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers in a limited role off the bench and had not signed any team this past summer or preseason. Peace had long stated he wants to play professional basketball for 20 years, which he is currently a couple of seasons shy of reaching that mark.

The BIG3 has already announced that several big names from the inaugural season will be returning for the second year with the likes of Kenyon Martin, Al Harrington, Corey Maggette, Chauncey Billups, Richard Lewis, Cuttino Mobley, Josh Childress. This also includes Hall of Famers Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler, and George “The Iceman” Gervin coming back in coaching capacities.
