Michigan football found a way to beat Penn State in its first of three games without Jim Harbaugh. However, University President, Santa Ono, received some major backlash over his comments about Harbaugh and the football team.

Ono was happy to see the Wolverines keep their undefeated season alive. Especially after Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti decided to suspend Jim Harbaugh from being on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. In the midst of being proud of the Michigan football team, Ono took to Twitter to send a message to the college football world.

“Countless members of the University of Michigan family have reached out to me over the weekend and I wanted to express my appreciation. Like any community, we face our share of challenges and adversity. There have been many such moments in our history. But as our team showed so clearly yesterday, we will respond to any challenge head on with a conviction to do better and to emerge even stronger. Go Blue!”

Now, considering the Wolverines are under investigation over an alleged sign-stealing scandal, many college football fans didn't take this message from Santa Ono well. Although it was a massive win for Michigan, everyone is still rather upset with Jim Harbaugh and his football team.

Meanwhile, some people believe that Santa Ono is being a bit dramatic. And maybe he is.

Sarcasm is just oozing in this response. But it's also a perfect way to call out Ono's take on Jim Harbaugh.

The Wolverines will take on Maryland and then they have the biggest game of the season against Ohio State. Not having Harbaugh will make things interesting. However, if Michigan football can remain undefeated, their head coach may return for the playoffs.
