The Minnesota Timberwolves will work out free agents Dorell Wright and Rasual Butler next week according to ESPN's Darren Wolfson report on Saturday.

Wright and Butler are both proven veterans at the small forward position that can shoot the three comfortably and efficiently.

Both players would look to play the two or three-spot behind either Shabazz Muhammad or Brandon Rush. Considering how young both these player are both Wright and Butler will be seeing limited minutes of play.

Wright has failed to score in double digits for a season since his days in Golden State, where he made the vast majority of his career starts.

The 37-year-old Butler is in his last legs and looking to see if he has what it takes to crack an NBA roster spot.

While the two likely won't be of much help on the floor, they can provide experience and leadership to a very young and rising Minnesota team.
